• Account & Profile: name, email, avatar (Personal & Professional profiles are separate within the App).
• Personal Mode content: trips (title, date, images, notes/experience), hobbies (your suggestions), personal notes, "wins" (title, description, outcomes, credits), and feed posts (when launched).
• Professional Mode content: categorized notes, goals (short/mid/long-term with subgoals, deadlines, progress), expense entries (category, amount, frequency, description), planner events (title, date/time, reminders, prep notes), community posts (when launched).
• Support communications: messages or attachments you send to us.

B. Information collected automatically

• Usage data: in-app interactions, screens viewed, feature engagement, crash logs.
• Device data: device model, OS version, language, time zone, app version.

C. Information from third parties (optional)

If enabled, we may receive analytics or crash reports from services like Firebase/Google Analytics. We do not buy or sell personal data.

2) How We Use Information

• Provide and maintain App functionality (notes, goals, trips, wins, expenses, planner, reminders).
• Sync your content to cloud storage (if you sign in) and across devices.
• Send notifications you enable (e.g., goal deadlines, meeting reminders).
• Improve performance, safety, and reliability; fix bugs; analyze usage trends.
• Moderate user-generated content (e.g., hobby suggestions, community posts, when available).

• Community features: if you post to community or submit hobby suggestions, that content may be visible to others after admin approval (personal/private content remains private unless you choose to share).
• Legal & safety: we may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and the App.
• Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may transfer under the same privacy commitments.

We do not sell your personal information.

5) Data Storage, Security & Retention

• Storage: Data may be stored on secure cloud infrastructure (e.g., Firebase/Google Cloud) in regions we select.
• Security: We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk (encryption in transit, access controls). No method is 100% secure.
• Retention: We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described, unless a longer retention is required by law. You can delete content in-app; account deletion request will remove associated personal data subject to necessary backups/logs.

• Object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent for optional features.
• Manage notifications in device settings and App settings.

Lifey is intended for users aged 13+ (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the applicable age. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We implement safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) where required to protect your information.

9) App Permissions

• Photos/Media: add trip images or attachments you choose.

You can control permissions in your device settings. Denying a permission may limit related features.
